It's the thought of your hand touching mine
our fingers barely touching, yet reaching my soul,
that keeps me from saying so.
It's the smell of your hair, the warmth of your body, the sound of your laugh,
that keeps me from saying so.
It's the way you look at me,
with such intensity, I hope that sometimes, at those very moments, maybe I'm keeping you from saying so.
