My arms go around her
All I feel is the warmth of her skin
As we lay there, I think of us
My eyes close, and I could fall asleep
But I'd rather stay here with her
Could lay with her forever
Swept up in the storm
But rage through the night as one
Heads leaning against each other
It doesn't get any better than this
Just lying with the person I want to be with most

This poem gave me such a warm feeling. I know how you feel, my favorite thing is to be in the arms of my best friend (my boyfriend.) It is the closest thing to perfection I have ever found. Best of luck to you and Katie! Your poem is gret.
