I'm sorry everyone. But do you remeber when the problems here seemed so...I don't know, simple? But we have so many people opposing the moderators and people leaving and problems with forum spaces and multiple posters. I don't know, maybe I am naive, but a few months back, everything allways had a solution. As for me, I'm not leaving any time soon, I love the moderators... and multiple posters- who cares? If the few people who think this place is such a problem feel this way, why do they stay? I just want to say that people work hard to keep this place running, and nothing we ever do can make it perfect. So keep up the good work. My alpologies for any trouble I've caused

Awww, little Liz, what trouble have you caused, little friend? I don't know of any. You are always trying to keep everybody happy. You kind of remind me of myself that way.
Heart hugs to you, Sweetie

Those people who have a problem with the moderators are usually the ones who are breaking the rules...

Guess more people should read the user agreement before signing up.

When a head of such a forum claims in public that your work will no longer be subject to the guidelines and instead will be pulled, without justification, notification or discussion then I am sorry people will leave.  That is the situation with me and that is why I am turning my back on this place.

If you find such a thing unreasonable then may you continue to be subject to moderators who abuse their powers.

Peter---

First of all...

"When a head of such a forum claims in public that your work will no longer be subject to the guidelines and instead will be pulled, without justification, notification or discussion"

I read the thread and this is an incorrect summary of what was said.

Second---Weren't you leaving?

(Sorry Liz...)

ok sir- you aren't the only one leaving. I was talking about Magnus, a good, loyal and one of our  older members who after so long has decided to move on. So don't jump to conclusions. And don't judge before you walk a mile in someone's shoes. That's why I'm volunteering to be a deputy moderator

Dunc-check your email turnup I got it to work

Another thing-I don't agree with every action carried out by the moderators, but I respect them from putting their tim into this place. My poems are dark, and I express this without gore, who knows, maybee yours are better, but you are focusing all of your negativity on this place and don't realize the benefits of reconiton or friendship.

Dunc-I shall be awake by midnight, waiting for your return

Nope, I was just saying that being a moderator isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. If you want to be one then I wish you luck.

Wind ... dear one. If only all of us could have such down to earth sensibility. Being a DM is a tough job but very interesting. I have never done so much reading in my whole life. Passions is more fair and understanding than alot of poetry sites out there.
I have no idea how the senior mods and administrators do it day in and day out...with "away from computer" jobs as well. As for Ron, well he must be a wizard.
Are you home yet by the way? Hope you had a great time. hugs, Chris

LOL, it's not like this place is some kingdom and Ron's demanding a tithe from every member. *shrug* I am subject to no moderator... they don't come into my house and tell me what to do, or how to live my life.

Just like, if I go out to eat, the restaurant manager doesn't rule my life beyond the restaurant. But- when I'm there, I better not do anything too offensive, because, y'know, it is their restaurant...

Here’s my two cents if anyone cares...

First-wind, I admire you a lot that you are going to walk a mile in the moderators shoes, that is very commendable...it is a hard job, I’m sure, no actually I know, not from experience, but just from belonging to this wonderful site

Second-I’m sure everyone at sometime or another has had something pulled, I know I have, and true I wasn’t happy, because I feel it wasn’t looked at hard enough, but hey that’s life, the moderators have a lot to look through, and if anything even comes close to disobeying the guidelines it has to be pulled...those are the rules...plain and simple, we all know this. so there is no use in crying about it, move on...

So why can’t we all just obey them, they are laid out in plain English, and we can all be a happy family again...
