To write a poem that is just for you.
You have no poetry on a single page,
So it would be hard even for a sage.

We'd like to get to know you for a while,
Figure out what makes you sad or smile.
So hopefully you'll share with us some more,
And we can give you the support you're looking for.

So don't be afraid to open up and share,
There are lots of poets here that care.
Take a risk this is a safe place to start,
You'll find there are many here with a good heart.

Peace and hope can be found in great supply,
And love is offered when you want to cry.
But it is a process of give and take,
If just a little effort you will make.

If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, I'd walk right up to heaven and bring you home again.

I tried a different way,
And much to my dismay;
I found your words were there,
Words of love written to share.

Hints, perhaps, of who you are,
Of how you someday may be a star.
And if I'm right about the clues,
You may struggle with love's blues.

Us romantics have a flawless plan,
That can be interrupted where we stand.
But I wish for you faith, hope and love,
All of which are give from above.
