If I were me.. and me was that girl.. this girl, you see.. A short girl with long dark brown hair that collects faerie dust and kittens in it’s wind blown state. Strong and feminine (because yes, the two can exist at the same time). She’d play piano all day and write songs. She’d sing them too. She’d find her yellow bird. She’d write poetry and have it published for an audience who believes that kiwis are delicious too. The other red fruit. She’d even write a book and have that published as well. It’d be a good book. She’d be satisfied with just a cracker and a look. She’d know that it’s not all over by 18. She’d carry a camera everywhere and collect the time like quarters. She’d eat organic food ‘cause plants have feelings too. She’d know how to work all this damn technology to make something lovely. She’d create pieces of artwork that could shift and shake without a kick. She’d jump out of airplanes every day. She’d know where the garden is. She’d have her own. She’d wake up and know that millions will suffer but in her pocket little by little they’re coming back to life. She’d slap you in the face and then shake your hand. No harsh feelings, man.
