thanks guys, I have missed you so...and it seems a much awaited dream has decided to come true. Hence the trip .......As for Philip, haven't got plans to see him, would LOVE to, but time-wise I may be pressed to try to drive up there, I will actually be near Plymouth. (south, Philip is north  ) But P if yer watching....ya can drive to see me???? *wink*Luv ya oodles and Nan dear, hugging Eric will be a cinch...it's letting go that may get me in trubble. I'll post from his house for sure *hugs* ~H |

Dunno what made me come and look here ...lol... I NEVER come in here usually; being such a hard unfeeling person this forum kinda makes me all uncomfortable ~grin~ Hey..... you said LONDON, sheesh - you Americans, have you ANY idea how far Plymouth is from London ...lol..? and then double it to get to me (well not quite). And the roads!! We have only little tiny roads, which, round Christmas, become great big traffic jams - oops sorry, gridlock? Humm - in any case H I am almost sure we're going up to Aberdeen to see Jane's mother and grandmother (96!!) so that puts us about 700 miles apart - 14 hrs by car - geez ... lol.... I think I'm safe .... Seriously, hopefully next time, maybe when we have the house done at long last, or even the little croft I promised you - remember? We bought it and hope to start building in the Spring! You take care and have a great Christmas - in fact I order you to have a great Christmas and an even better New Year see ya Philip |

yes but it's not the SAME 14 hours ... 14 hours on your lovely freeways and you arrived fresh as a daisy and ready for action - 14 hours on what pass for roads over here and you're either dead or wishing you were .... |
