Im not sure if this is the right place to post this, but in the main forum it said this is where you can post just about anything. So here goes. When I was little and it stormed the thunder scared me. The lighting didnt bother me unless it lit up the whole house. Anyways my family told me that the thunder was just angels bowling. I've never heard that story but that's awfully cute. I was never afraid of storms...my mom was always the one that would spazz during storms. It's not quite the same as what you were saying but when I was younger I used to have nightmares almost every night and I was always terrified but my dad told me that you have complete control over your nightmares...you can defeat anything. So I started "fighting" back and I wasn't scared anymore. Don't mess with the bull, young man. You'll get the horns. ~*Guardian of Light*~ |

I was always told that the lightening and thunder didn't get along in heaven sometimes, and that's when we had thunder storms... I also heard the angels bowling one too  I LOVE storms! ~H |

Ah, when it thundered, that was God bowling, and when there was lightening, that was a strike! But angels need R&R too, so why not, I say! |

I wonder how many other stories were told about this. Cause I told my boyfriend and he laughed he got the biggest kick out of it. And I was just wondering if anyone else heard the same story. Thanks for your input!! |

Yep, I've heard that. Thunder was the angels bowling, an especially loud thunderclap was an angel bowling a strike, and snow was the angels having a pillow fight. Elizabeth Why ME??? |

Elizabeth~~~I have never heard about the angels having a pillow fight when it snows, but I like that one. When I was little there was another one, that when it rains that God is crying. |

Durn it! You got em all! I've heard of the pillow fight and was going to add that one. But I was beat to it. I've heard the bowling one as well as God crying when it rains. |

hmmm sun shining god's smiling? I was told that thunder was the giant from Jack in the Bean Stalk walking around lol my parents were really parinoid about the lightning an stuff, they'd turn off and unplug all the electric appliances and us kids would sit there quietly so the giant didnt find us ... but now I'm a storm watcher, lover, participater? love to stand out in teh rain in the thunderstorms and feel that electricity in the air |

I would have to say that I've seen Sunny a lot these days. . . just shining away!! LOL  But I would say that the sunshine is just God looking at the world that He created. . . letting us get a good look at everything. . . and that the moon is the same thing but just a different look. . . God didn't want us to look at the same sky all the time, so that's why there are stars. . . and not always the same stars either!!!
