Guess I'm feeling a bit out of sync...My first"post" was a spiritual poem, and I was encouraged to post further in the spiritual forum...I did, once, only to discover that unless spirituality conformed to a singular point of view, it would be dismissed. I am relieved that it is not deleted altogether. But I have to wonder, where are all the Jews, Muslims, Pagans, Buddhists? I realize that one can only make a soup with the ingredients on hand, but i fear, and i've no intention of singling any one out, that enthusiasm and harrassment border the same fine line of love and hate...Angry? No. Sad and disappointed. Must every expression of spirituality/God/fill-in-the-blank be attended so zealously? How can a moderater moderate, being so immoderate? Striving only for more understanding, so please do not view this as an attack...I desire only to be comfortable in expressing all of my views. |

I do not yet have the computer know-how, or capability to fully take advantage of all the forum has to offer. I'm working on it, tho...my pc is as slow as a slug in salt, but hopefully that shall be remedied soon. I would like to state further that I LOVE the poetry forums, and have no wish to indulge in persnickety poetry politic. I just realized that I have been censoring myself because of what may well be my own perceived prejudices. Let me think more on this...I will be in touch. |

Serenity this was just brought to my attention. I really am not understanding what you mean here. I went back and looked into the post you made in spiritual. I see that in your reply, you said you had alternative religious beliefs. I hope that you would always feel free to email me at anytime if you had questions or concerns. This forum is for all spiritual journeys and not necessarily all reflecting on God. It just so happens that those are the people posting in there and those are our beliefs. We accept all religions and beliefs here. Don't be afraid to be honest with us...we may not always agree with you, or each other, but we certainly feel you are entitled to post poetry supporting your beliefs.
