the thought of us in a swimming pool

swimming laps together is so cool

but first a date with us grabbing two stools

              at Ruby Tuesdays

while we drool

          over unspoken desires

might fool us into believing that a long conversation on top of four rotating tires

through a quaint little countryside

could be  the setting that helps us slide

                into friendship
