Meeting you
***

I sink into the lilac sunset

beholding your outstretched arms

in designs of organza clouds.

The golden disk shares

stirring whispers of goodbye,

while the rising moon giggles

conquering the scene.

The Linden tree blossoms

add their sweet fragrance

to the night’s expanding charm.

My heart star twinkles

in silent communication.

And then you materialize

right there in front of me.

With a sudden tremor

of delight,

I close my eyes and sway,

meeting you.

Beautiful, Margherita.  I read in your profile that English is your third language.  I was an English/French/Afrikaans teacher for many, many years before I was an real estate agent and I would never have guessed.  You write as though English is your mother tongue.

Great to read your beautiful poetry again, Margherita.  I feel as if I had been on the shore enjoying the pictured sunset, as well!
Wonderful!

Margherita, your celestial poetry is stellar and it always put stars in my eyes and a smile on my heart. Stars

You write with the grace of a true angel.

You could have a picture of a rusty iron duck up there and it wouldn't matter; this is true poesy.

Beautiful, very nice indeed. Cheers   - Ed

Ed, danke Dir von Herzen! Ein Meisterwerk ist es vielleicht nicht, aber Dein Kommentar hat mich sehr gefreut...
