Between the Lines

0 posted 2005-11-05 09:15 AM

Living in a fever's rush
less coughing's hush
in comfort plush,
beneath the thoughts
of quilted dreams
and wishful themes
on paper reams...

Many words of yesterday
now come this way...
tomorrow's say
the same repeat
between the lines
of hiding, finds
me ....flushed of mind.

MzWynter~

I know just what you mean about those little germ spreaders ... I've got my own two working on me right now~

Of course the benefit is that you can stay home, feel miserable and STILL write beautiful poetry~

Be well~

I know..all you have to do is enclose yourself
in a room with a bunch or runny nosed kids..
and next thing ya know?
AAAAACHOOO!  Feel better soon.

Now - while the leaves still dance on the wind
While the moon and the clouds come spinning
Will you whisper my name again?
Again...and again...

Colds sure keep us humble, don't they?  I enjoyed this piece.  Hope your fever and sneezes are soon gone.
