Feel my intelligence slip away
The masterful stroke of split understanding
Torn and confused

Refining my mind out of utter chaos
I'm starting to realize the nothing I am
Glue that used to hold seems to melt away

I can't read the upper stones on the wall of a
Building, from the ground
I can't even see the cracks
Or the color

A gift of wisdom for a fool
Death carried inside
Just one
Toated along

Ignorance and folly have become my playground
And I yet to understand
Just live in this
Absolutes of nothing planned

No turning back, this time, no walking away -Kutless
