I am here among you, lost in remember
of passing moments,  of times yet to
be before my eyes.

I am there in the shadow of a great oak,
watching the sun in morning rise.

I am beating within your chest,  as blood
courses your every vein.

Lost in moments,   in unrest...of
struggles which I must restrain.

I am within your pen as ink flows tenderly upon
a fresh clean page.  Waiting to speak,
to take a walk...to have a moment's engage.

I am where the flowers bloom,  where daisies
and daffodils play.  The breeze that touches
your room,  the shadow lingering,  wanting
to stay.

I am ...  yes...  I am..

Nice, and especially:

the shadow lingering,  wanting
                        to stay.

(The only critique I could make is the use of the word "courses" twice. A synonym for the 2nd one would strengthen this piece, I think.)

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Oh yes, Barry. So beautiful, it's almost song-like.
It's so good to see your presence here on these blue pages.
We miss you when you aren't.
Hugs to you, my friend
