Murderous motifs mocking our attempts
These surroundings lack every sanity
We are the disappointed sunset who only laments
And the glorious death dressed in vanity

If you find my fragments, let them die
Separate them from your reality, weave their exodus
And remember, everything was one beautiful lie
Just like that wonderful story about “Us.”

Send back my words and thoughts
To the address I never gave
Like bullets from broken shots
They’ll kill me before they save

Knocks and walks and screams
Slams and sleeps and punches
You killed my hopes when he released my dreams
They crawled through the cracks in droves, in bunches

Lonely solitude, I know it well
Full of empty in a home miles away
In a home beyond the seventh circle of hell
On a cold surface, in a dark place I lay

Face down when she left with him
Not even a goodbye to let her know
The chances now are even more slim
He’ll never play the lead in this crazy show

Butterflies to bees
Wings to stings
Their final exit
In the play that never happened

Leisure, not life.

This was dark and haunting, and oh so tempting in a perverse sort of way.

I'm thoroughly impressed by your powerful expression Sir William.

I'm a big fan already!
