I found you
When I ripped the bones
From my body and cracked them open.
The words you had spoken
Etched in the marrow of me.
Indelibly, scribed memories
Done in calligraphy from ages past
Seemed undecipherable at first
Then with a bit of blood revealed
The truth,
You are always inside me.

Dumbfounded here! with mouth gaping open. You sure can write! Oh my.....
Well, if that just doesn't capture a soulmate situation, in a most dramatic, deepest, incredibly shocking way. Never heard it put quite like that. I don't know what is stronger than passion, but you touched it with this. To take bones and marrow and blood and turn it into this is awesome, to say the least. Love at it's finest. Wow!

Really enjoyed this.
Warmest regards, Pat

Cpat--this is by far one of my favorites from you.  You are such a talented poet, and I am Christmas Tree green with envy!  What a remarkable poem.  The passion is "bleeding" off the page!

pat... dumfounded explains a lot of people's reaction to my writing..they are amazed I can still post after sharing so much drivel.. ( chuckling) thank you for the compliment.

laney... you are too kind... but thank you

EA... you are a smart **s ( chuckling)
only thing I ascended to was another level of ineptitude at writing..  as for the Dr friends and the transplant... I'll let you know... have to find a donor first... ( laughing)

gemjop... thank you for the nice words... they are appreciated greatly.

I can't think of anything to say...I hate using that word "wow". My eyes are so tired today it's all I can do to keep them open and read a few poems.

it's good. but towards the end, it pauses,
then continues again. that totally breaks
the invisible flow of the poem.

nice metaphors too, calligraphy. it seeps
into you. cool.

Sometimes when you look under the skin of things...you find something very sweet.  If you did, I envy you.  The wording in this hit the target that touches.

Captain, I could donate some of my own bone marrow for the transplant. But there may be too much sugar in it for your liking! You might even end up with diabetes!---or even worse! You could end up writing sappy sweet nothings like I do! tehe

Sandpiper: thank you...

Christian: not sure I agree with you about the flow..it is meant to slow down and was done in part for an effect. As for the title being Stupid... I fall back on Forest Gump...
Stupid is as stupid does...

martie... you my friend are always looking under the skn of things to see what else is being said. Thank you for taking the time..

EA... ( chuckling) you are too cute... thanks for the offer!

Duncan... perhaps we have the same types of memories of different women...or maybe we are just flawed as humans and feel the world much the same...

I always knew you were a master but now apparently you have ascended.

Congratulations, lovie.

You do understand so much.

And without getting all mushy?
I want to thank you for YOUR inspiration and constant encouragement--I think this poem is amazing--even with the stupid title!

Kielo

[1]- "um." 1.a sound of great awe.
2.denotes amazement.
3.used to compensate for lack of words.
4.indicates deep deliberation.

Ron,

This is an excellent write...

Regards to you,
Sudhir
P.S. and I wrote this while I read yours...
-----------
I found you
and I felt as if
you were the rarest liquor

and I found myself
addicted
forever wanting more

Yes, you can call me
a drunk.

The truth is:
thoughts of you flow
within my blood
and you reside in me
leaving me forever
intoxicated

The passion and soul in this piece is overflowing. The feeling whisks away at the mind. Letting it only see pieces and fragments. This poem was amazing.
