Sometimes round and precious
With coloured bands of praise
It?s earned from being gracious
Or from practice day by days

Made of precious metal
Yet not precious on its own
It is an ancient symbol
Of praise that has been shown

Sometimes a badge of courage
More oft a mark of pain
From endless days of worry
From training in hail and rain

Its power lies in the symbol
As old as life and breath
At times with brass and cymbal
It?s given after death

Think about this object
Think of fathers, brothers too
As you dwell upon the subject
The answer comes to you.

Here in the midst of my lonely abyss, a single joy I find...your presence in my mind.  Unknown

Well Kethry, you sure did this very good. I'm not too good at guessing, but could this be a medallion?
I was the first one to volunteer for Svens challenge and still haven't figured how what to write for mine. (Maybe I'm not so smart after all.)

(smiles) Yes, I agree with Sue, the part where it was given after death really had me thinking, and a medallion was the first thing that came to my mind that I think could fit! (big hugggssssss) This is a wonderful challenge, sweet friend, I love it, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiufl heart, sweet Kethry, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

Keth darling sister of heart and keeper of my souls song, could it possibly be a Medal, something like the Victoria Cross? As always darling heart you write brilliantly, and with such divinely perfect phrasing and language usage. You are an amazing writer, and yes I am just a tad biased, but not a lot…… You really are superb you know.

Excellent darling heart you know I love it of course

I can't think of anything  else but a medallion  or medal  also..you did such a wonderful  job of describing all aspects of one.
