the bird feeder,
a metronome,
ticks away the moments
of a spring breeze,

passing time,
sun,
shadows,
a call for April rain,
yet for now,
it is time only
that passes

tick
tock
click
clock

I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

A clock driven bird feeder, or did I miss the point?
I got a Ka-pow out of this

hehehe,
well maybe you did,

my bird feeder was
tick-tocking back and forth
in the gale force winds, yesterday,
looking like a metronome

it made me muse
and write this weird poem

glad you got a ka-pow!

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

i thought i would come back to better express how i felt when i was reading this...

you know, how the scene freezes when you are watching MTV and the camera kind of zooms in on one object which is incidentally the only object still moving...that was how i felt towards this bird feeder..
