Epopee

I would write me an epopee
To sooth our blights reality
To touch the tender of each heart
To wash away the anxious part

I wish to hail humanity
To sail a kite of sanity
To make it wax in every part
To salve the wounds of pox and start

Whispers seep about my head
Burst about the living bed
Fragile as a butterfly
Mounted on a flowers lie.

I would that it to mix with air
And be inhaled by all that’s there
Intoxicate a passage goal
And set a sign upon each soul

To tide a light and wane in rhyme
To ride a grain of sand in time

Seymour darling boy this is just perfect, OH how I missed my morning dose of Seymour. To imbibe you like the rarest wine, to sip the nectar straight from the cup of your fashioning, to cleanse my soul under a shower of Seymour’s crystal stream, oh what joy it gives my heart.

You know I utterly utterly love this don’t you. Welcome home, darling boy, you surely were missed xxxx

Love and warm stuff
As always

I, like Liz, can only shake my head and smile in admire of those closing couplets.
They are your daily, poetic-soul signature my sweet poetman.
