Last night she heard a whisper,
...as soft as newborn's hair,
Take my hand and fly with me,
...on wings of feathered air.

She quickly turned to answer,
...and much to her surprise,
No one stood before her,
...just azure twilight skies.

Then came again a whisper soft,
...come take your hand in mine,
And soar into the heaven's high,
...on winds of vespertine.

Terpsichore will be our guide,
...as sings her songs of love,
We'll sail aboard the Southern Cross,
...'cross welkin seas above.

She felt a kiss upon her brow,
...smelled fragrance heaven sent,
Closed her eyes and saw the moon,
...touched on the firmament.

Two hikers walked on well worn path,
...when from far side of trees,
They heard two voices soft as silk,
...on twilight's cooling breeze.

From out the woods the hikers walked,
...and much to their surprise,
No a soul before them stood,
...just azure twilight skies.

Then high above a shooting star,
...crossed skies of vespertine,
Upon the winds a whisper soft,
...forever you'll be mine.

I read this, and I just sat here smiling.

This is magical and sweet, Tim. Purely perfect lyricism.

It read like a hug.
