Deep in the heart

The search for soulmate is often fraught
with obstacles in one's mind, you see.
Things of the past must be remembered not
for pain and loss, but for gaiety.

In good time your man will come for you
and walk through life hand in hand with love
only for you. Happiness will brew,
lifting you both to the clouds above.

I cannot prescribe for the world's ills, dear,
nor would I try anything but pray
one day the world will awake and hear
what people of goodwill have to say.

You will endure because your heart is pure.
Love awaits, of that you can be sure.
