I Dance To The Music Of Your Heart

It comes to me over the mountains
carried on eternal winds of change
Whispered softly it soars through the air
while freedom sets border of it’s range

Yearning tunes move my heart to weeping
when feeling strong notes of emotion
I move with the rhythm that’s playing,
a timeless waltz shows my devotion

Swaying to and fro within your words
as a silent songs sings in the night
Softly touched over time and distance
by the words of love that you recite

Feeling a flush of joy light my face
from visions I refuse to contain
I Dance to the music of your heart
as it fills my soul with sweet refrain

Hello Karen

Oh, this was pure heaven.  Your words touched my heart and were filled with so much warmth and love......absolutely beautiful.  This would have to be one of my favourites of yours.

Take care.....Sue

Karen - you sure do write some romantic stuff. I'd take my guitar and play for you anytime, if you would sit there and listen..

Karen, every word was lovely.  Enjoyed much.

Karen, you write so beautifully. I love your poetry. May I answer you in a poem?

Dancing with me.

I am your whistling winds that blow above
Mountains and wavy seas carrying love
A song I sing as the oblate earth spins
I bring you magic of tropical winds.

Your tears are only soft pearls of my rain
Flowing so gently down cheeks in your pain
Please give them to me as I blow through your soul
I will dry your face and you'll become whole.

So take my sunshine and skies of pure blue
As mountains of sunlight I now blow to you
So come with me, dance, let's fly the blue sky
Sing music, romance with love in your eye.

Fill up your soul with peace and good will
Embracing my wind as I teach you to trill
In Sunlight we'll savor all joy in God's sky
Loving forever as we sing on high,

Angels in chorus we join heavenly
As your soul embraces my wind and sea.

As you and your toes go dancing with me.

((Karen))

It is the very BEST kind of dance, too

Fool, said my Muse to me, look in thy heart and write.
