You give wings to my heart
and you say, "Fly to me."
My heart trembles at the sound
of your voice, at the moment
of your touch.My heart moves
in new stirrings...the feathered
hope, the airy delight
of being near to the one
whose heart is fluttering
back at me.I see my wings
spreading out, fanning soft, kisses
into your waiting spirit.
Through the eons of light-years,
your heart quivers in time;
and the vibrations give
my heart the momentum it needs
~~~~~to fly ~~~~~to soar.

And, then~~~~~~~~~
I offer my wings to you
and I say, "My heart
will always be yours."

Ivy, I just love poems about flying through the skies. And yours is simply wonderful! I believe that the sky is our real home and I just love to hang out there. And I know it is where lovers like to hang out. So when you are up there in the blue, look around. You just might see me dancing on a star, or chasing a light beam just looking for God's love. And when I see you I'll wave at you and yours. Wheee!
