     My Very Scent

I wear a little
of you each day
with me, near me
there you stay
down deep meshed
my pores you’re in
the touch and smell
of my skin
you, I do not need
to constantly reapply
a little is much
in abundant supply
so very near
and present
you are
my very scent

This is nice, it makes me think of a certain person who wore a certain cologne, and when I get a whiff of it, 20 years later, it makes me think of him. I know thats not what this was about, just babbling
Love the poem, and the intimacy within it.
