Mercy In Black
~*Marge Tindal*~

Upon the cast of circle
she comes, your witness to bear
The gravedigger stands ready
waiting eagerly in the lair
Not without her canting
has she bound you to the grave
Angel Of Black Mercy descends
to cast you on your way

How dark the soul that none do cry
No tears of grief spill in goodbye
Fear ye not, the taking back
You shall be tended by Mercy In Black

the picture with this one is awesome....i'm reminded of "The Crow".

a dark, late night write. i like the tone...the last four lines almost read like a headstone.
haunting...

I do not regret the things i've done,
but those i did not do.
And in the immortal words of the Doors:
"The time to hesitate is through."

No intent to play on words but this is a very dark piece from you Marge, and quite captivating.

Well done!

Thanks for the read.

Marge, it's a surprise to see this style from you, but, I must say that you write the dark well.  This is very classical and haunting in tone, and the picture enhances the thought perfectly~

Marge-
   Ah yes...here it is..
   I like this one lots!
Certainly does show a side of your muses
that isn't often seen...it's the 'darker side of Marge'. :-)
Very cool write, and the graphic is perfect.
