Blessed be the wee hours
For they shall inherit these:
The poet and the love he has
To share all that he sees

Blessed be the wee hours
For they shall grow in worth
When every poets’ solitude
Is shared across the earth

Blessed be the morning
A poet then can rest
But blessed be the wee hours
A poet at his best

Blessed be the poets
Who can't sleep when others do
For they shall get their naps
While their words are read by you

Yep, that's the best way Walt! Get up at 1am to write down an inspirational thought (Hehe, I've done that heaps actually..) then when ur exhausted in the morning? sleep at work / school..
This is so neat, beautifully written Walt, and enjoyed thoroughly.

blessed be the early morn

words then come like ripples

You're so right. As it may seem I post in early evening hours, you'll have to add 6 or 7 hours ahead for me. Nightly hours are the best to write and you wrote this so well.

Walt,

Well said!  I also write during the wee hours and find that is when my best work is born.  I enjoyed this much.
