If we could change ourselves would life still
Be worth living?
If dreams of beauty and fantasy were realized at will
Would life still be?
I wake, I read, I calculate, I live and fill
My mind with light,
But still I oft
Do feel as one who's life is in a world of white
And colour now suppressed by scholarly minds
And darken'd ephemeral dim green light.
I hear the boring thoughts of others calling,
Killing, and maming the last life of life,
And placing all beneath the green cloud
Of mist that's now the only thing we know.

Academics can be so draining. Ugh... I hate order and stiff, boring ways of life. Drives me crazy thru the monotony. I hope I read this right. Otherwise I feel dumb right now...lol
