I long for the warmth of days gone by,
Cause inside my heart does slowly die.
Remembering the days when everything was fine,
Those days were simply devine.
Now they're memories in time,
And it's a bitter tasting bit of lime.
As the seasons roll by and change,
The love I have for you grows stronger and wider in range.
Wonder if you notice or if you won't see,
Exactly what you mean to me.
Because my love for you,
Will last for all eternity.

Only darkness falls on those without souls

I liked this... I thought it was very sweet, and the rhyme was well done.  The thoughts you have here and beautiful... nicely done, Kyle!  I enjoyed this.

The flow was a bit off, but It still went pretty well. Another well done write here. So bitter sweet.

You wouldn't worry about what people thought about you if you knew how seldom they did.

Well done here. I truly did like this poem. Very nicely written.

Wow. This is really really great. I haven't been here for a while, but this is the first poem I read when I got here. What a way to start me off. I love it!! Keep up the good work!
