I have lost my words it seems
or the pen does not recognize the pain of my heart
where am I?
The writer, the lover
the friend
I sit here before you now
a shell of who I built myself to be
where has my heart gone?
My passion, has it faded
just as its brightest flame began to
glow?
who am I?
The sad, the lonely
the tear

Welcome to the family. Very nice words, seems they have found a home.

My muse is a fickle sort, she leaves on unexpected vacations just when I think we have work to accomplish. Mostly, she returns with gifts more than expected, and then I forgive her and her wanton, wandering ways. Welcome.

Sometimes it helps to confine oneself to the bounds of a form. Sometimes the muse just loses focus.
Welcome to this place.

Poetias~
Sometimes when the words won't come -
a tear says it all.
Softly falling to the cheek
says all that the words could not speak.

Welcome to our family of friends
and passionate poets.

A sensitively rendered entrance.

Thank you all for a very warm welcome, and I look forward to being here for awhile. I was a member under a different pen but I've been gone for so long I feel new just the same. I know I will get to read works from each of you and I hope I can make you feel as talented as you have by simply stopping to read my heart. Thank you again.

Perhaps our muses are sometimes silent in recognition of our heart's pain... no words can do it justice. *S* Welcome (back *S*)... I like this a lot! *S*
