First Hand Witness

Can you see the colored beauty
in the lost aching thorns
bowing at your cornered feet?

Can you feel the glowing sunlight
bounce through their rifling pain
piercing your skin with vengeance?

Can you envision delightful
a course through forest land
fielding needles embedded?

Your such a brave divine guest
unto you the stage set
blindly a wanderers curse.

First hand witness of life's turmoil
see stems bind and struggle
keeping natures wondrous flow.

L D this has a wonderful mysterious feel to it. I've read it a couple of times and it gets BETTER and BETTER. I think it's one of my favourites from you.

Great

Jon

Alle': Thank you, glad you enjoyed.

Now as I read the replies, and ponder a personal comment by a friend, it's seems this poem is very mysterious and I'd have to agree. It's one of those that just came to me, it started with the aching thorn. Now I am beginning to think this was a subliminal message coming through me...LOL I know I sound crazy, but now that everyone is commenting like this it's made me think and I realized that I listened to a song by Poison called Every Rose Has It's Thorns, and as I read this poem over today that is all I can think of is that song. Really weird and freaky if you ask me, but hey now you all know your right, it's very mysterious.

WOW. I loved this poem, it is not often that someone focuses on the dark side of beauty which it what I read from the poem. Amazing images, really enjoying this poem.
