You might leave your home one day and never return
Or you might just up and die because it's your turn.

You might die from a disease you never heard of
(Or from one of the many you have heard of).

You might drown in a flood or die by fire
Under circumstances unexpected and dire.

You might be blown to hell by terrorists
Or talked to death by a crazy therapist.

You might be poisoned by your food or drink,
The end could be closer than you think.

Earthquake, tornado, murder or accident.
Your chances of enjoying retirement, not worth a cent.

And in the end.....There's the prospect of hell!

Good one Ida, only thing is for me I'm already there...'cause I believe there's only two places to be, Heaven or hell and I ain't in Heaven yet...ha, ha!

Yes all of these things might happen...we are not promised a certain number of years...some get more and some get less...James

Methinks that you might have had a less than joyful day ~ and that can be a living hell!

I think almost everyone missed the point entirely on this one. It was actually supposed to be funny (I have a sarcastic sense of humor sometimes.) The gist of it is. With all we have to worry about from day to day then we have to worry about going to hell on top of it. I think Moondogz got it.
