It’s good to touch those words
received through the channel
of mind’s intent to hear
before in tears they’re wrapped
and sunken in the psyche.

It’s good to know they’re there
well jailed within pretence
breathing live the feel
of how it seems to me.

And it’s good to understand
the magic that they do
and how the shivers travel
hither/thither wildly so
embedding even further in
the beauty of a word.

Though friends right to the end
it’s love that hears the words
and shuffles them according to
what I need to hear
but though it be a dream
full of magic and mystique
let no one say a dream
isn’t good for you and me!

Exactly!  Helen, I love this.....and.....I love you (of course, not in the same way you're wishing for....but I hope those words count, too.)   .....jo

Of course they count, Jo!  There are so many different kinds of love and they're all perhaps more important that we can know.  Love to you too!
