Too Much To Consider Reasonable

unashamed I had spoken
that whisper in the wind
should I have tried redirection
demanded an unfold of tangle
for there it was going nowhere
spoken lingering balancing upon air
just a remnant of something
you wouldn’t recognize anyway
did I overbid my desires
and expect it actual hope
in thinking out of view
too much to consider reasonable
who made up the rules that
awful things happen to the good
and good things find the awful
I sometimes wish that I
was desensitized to color
so I could truly understand
the black and white
for I am not past the ache
but at least I can now sleep
