Listening to every heart

Little Sums

Little thoughts
Little memories
Little likes
Look like me

Small entices
Small insights and
Small romances
Those enhanced and

Black and white and
Noon and night and
Second chances in
Small romances

This could be
A little song
A bring along
A song that could

And were it such
It would be much
More to me
Than you.

When I read this, I heard (metaphorically) a little bird trilling.  Absolutely delightful, Karilea.  What a beautiful end to a lovely day - well, my day isn't over yet, but the daytime part of it nearly is.

Dear Solar Orb of radiant Light,
You make me smile with sheer delight.
Your little sums make up a whole,
That touches both my heart and soul.

~ A precious poem from a precious poetess!

Giving you a big, warm hug 'n smiley face,

Linda

P.S.
Thank you for stirring up 'sum' of my own.

This sounds like a little soul song, the kind that keeps us strong and movin' on.

Thank you Sunshine for sharing.

Kewl -- it sounds so much like a Pantoum, without being one. Me like dat, and the message, personal but timelessly universal.

Wow...look at the friends who came to see a little nothing poem; one of those little rhymie thingies that sometimes tickle the brain and heart and...

thank you.

I thought this would get a goose-egg...it's too simple, too easy, too cutsie? Well, maybe not cutsie...but I really did not expect this wonderful response.

I love our PiP people...

I love helping us grow...[yep, I've invited another person to join our throngs...clear out the extra room, Ron! ]

Thank you!

Sunshine - Just when I was comfortably settling in for a post yuletide depression, you had to go and write this poetic upliftment. I can see the light and hear your sunshine song. I feel a lot better now. Thanks. Namyh
