Attic eyes
====================
A pensive eagle flies
in the ethereal space.
The encyclopedia salesman
crawls down the road
with his paralyzed cheery face.
A note of distant bell
is taking the shape
of a girl’s tress.

These are the scenes
he has seen, he knows.

Yes, this attic knows them all.
This attic sees them all.

His boyish eyes have seen
the golden brown leaves flying
before they fall upon a road.
The lonesome kite
is losing a fight
with the reversing wind.
The once-pink house
at the other side of the road
and spinster
who lives there forever
with a cynic thirst
for some vague things.

The boy at the attic
of course knows them closely,
like the creaky floor
where he lives,
like the pair of crutches
by the bed.

This is quite sad, it painted a picture of the lonely boy staring out the window at the world
excellent imagery and good poem..

You are so talented, dear Ku! Besides exceptional poetry, I could see you writing wonderful scripts. You are so visual.

Wonderful, in its sadness.

Love and hugs.

Yo Poddarku,

It's good you know the boy in the attic.  He needs friends.

The poem works well.

What Bobby said.  How I wish that I could wave a magic wand and give him lots of real live friends and smiles and laughter and fun.

Hi Ku!

Another visual treat for our eyes ~ as seen through attic eyes, in this, another fine piece of writing.

You are a poet with excellent powers of observation, visualizations, sensitivity, and empathy. ~ Plus a wholelotta talent!

Warm hug,
Linda
