A different blood
Etched in the sunset
The sound of forgotten peace
Heard through the streets
Of painted pleasure
And sacred truth.
A strange new feeling
I’d never felt before
Break out of old skin
It’s gotten too thick
Your heart's calloused over
It’s time to let it all in
Embrace the beauty
Of a different land
When cities of old
Remind me of
The struggle I felt
So lost, and so cold
So let it all go
Melt into your hands,
The promise, the future in forsaken lands.

"So let it all go

Very nicely penned Miranda.
Much enjoyed the read.

That part hooked me and you held me tight.  Thank you for sharing.
