Time has passed My shell only slightly cracked Another day I wonder Moments etched forever Tired and waiting New beginnings await Am I too slow to react? What am I doing here? They love me forever Wide eyed with wonder My girls love only me They miss her as do I Life breeds the onset Hopefully in the right path A path never to allow Feelings once known It's all too short Harboring the above Ill effects Rain on me Numbing feeling of mistrust I have caused the rain Fields of empty Harvest my crop I wonder of the black ink Cards saved forever Dying thoughts Make me strong Pictures say the meaning Love lost for a fleeting moment Working on the past The past never forgets. |
