Digest

I offer you a glass of wine
To help digest these words of dine
To taste the flavors of suppose
To smell the scent passed near your nose

To see with me a field of green
And smell the magic of the scene
The filigree of tree and leaf
Those dance a dance of unbelief

With light that glows from white to hews
Those emanate a sky of blues
With mist that paints your cheeks with dew
The same that makes each day a coup

Let the wine just light the way
The headiness that starts each day
Wash the brine from out your eyes
See the day as one surprise

And when the day turns into night
Take the hand of dreams delight

well it's a little early for wine,
but I'd share a glass with you
anytime...

good morning Sey, delightful read.  Hugs.

I really want to care,
I want to feel something,
let me dig a little deeper
nah, still nothing~
my give a DAMN is busted. Jodee

Verses like that make me savor the bouquet of your cadence and then toast your talent,

I'm not much of a drinker but I'll let our morning tea "light the way." It's been awhile since I've had the pleasure of tea with you. I've missed you.

Another wonderful write from a wonderful man.  hugs, Marti
