To my Father,
Sometimes I wonder why you bother.
My ignorance was just lameness,
Yet you were there and shameless.
To my life donor,
Refused to let me be a loner.
When I needed you you were around,
By our blood we're forever bound.
So to my father,
Thanks for taking the time to bother.

Can you hear my cries, can you hear my pleads, will you watch me burn...or would you bleed for me?

Very heartfelt words Snowflake ... more men should take the time to tell their fathers how they feel. Before it is too late.

so nice...just reading someone's personal thoughts.  This makes me think of my dad, he missed some important stuff in my life (because he is an imperfect human) but he wanted to spend time with me and those times we had doing simple things are my fondest memories, the other things just got worked out later in life. I am just so thankful for my dad, 'cuz I know he loved me always.

This is so sweet, Snowflake.
I've felt the same about my Mom and Dad
down through the years. It seems
that I was always having trouble
of some kind or another.
Hugs,
Ethel

just goes to show you, even our parents can make some mistakes...and yet, by some unknown unseen law, there is that forever bond...which never goes unspoken for to long.  Very enjoyable read
