Resounding, these words
   ~what must be   will be~
I feel the power of
    this silent reverie.
It comes to me
on winds of song
a glowing,   a growing
steadily stronger.
No longer will I hold the pain
that once was held there
through words, my emotions;
my soul I now bare.

In spirits seek
I hear them speak
{in voices of ancient whispers}
Such peace is found
in tranquil surround
          {and I wish to touch   the sky,}
to no longer cry....

Through eyes of green
this dreamer dreams
     {visions painted vividly}
mountain views in haze
following of ancestral ways,
in seeking the journey    of self.

It's better than I could have planned..
it's made me who I am...
{Trace Adkins}

A wonderful, calming bit of writing, Donna. I just love the words above. Those ancients speak with such wisdom. I wonder if generations from now, people will think of this generation as having any wisdom at all?

Keep moving forward dear lady.

such a spiritually lovely write...
such healing in your rhymes....
beautiful penning Donna-girl.

When I'm with you my eyes are so wide ...
you reached right in my head and turned on the light inside
turned on the light in my mind.

That was a cool rhyming scheme!

I very much enjoy poems dealing with the subject matter of self journies. Enjoyed!

you always write with such power, yet
in a calming and quiet way...you take
words and make magic.

take care.

There are journeys...
and then there are realized wanderings.
Both hold so much...
both should be taken.

Thank you, m'dear, for remembering me.
