Visiting Earth on a Guest Pass

In Quiet Places

It lives there
in the quiet places
just beyond her eyes,
as gentle as remembered kisses,
softer than a moonlit shadow;

yet that something,
quiet something
there beyond her eyes
eludes me;
like the fragments of a dream
it seeks me out,
but will not let me find it.

loved it...we still have the problem with the main board moving way way faster than the speed of speed but it appears that is just the way it is...oh vey...this could be a much better poetry board if you split this main board...otay I'm done preachin.

ED ~

this is so touching, and I found such peace within the words...

Lauren~

I would rather have one breath of his hair,
one kiss of his mouth,
one touch of his hand
than an eternity without it.

good good morning Ed, ahhh the innocence of wondering about a love admired, does he feel the same about you?  And the awesome flowers of delivery when he looks deep into your eyes and says....would you like to go to a movie?

Ed....I have seen this same thing, but not so many years ago, perhaps it's a piece of ourselves looking out?  A beautiful poem!

Somehow I find myself wondering whether your gentle words with a hint of mystery, could be ascribed to you as well...

This was "softer than a moonlit shadow".

as gentle as remembered kisses,
softer than a moonlit shadow;

You could as easily be describing this quiet beauty, my friend... for it falls gently from eyes straight to heart. *S*

I can't think of anyone more deserving of encounters with angels than you... thank you for the share of this. *S*

yet that something,

eludes me;

You write romance with the softest whisper.
Really love the quiet place you took me to.

Nice one Ed~

Really liked this one.  This line is magnificent in its imagery:

"as gentle as remembered kisses"

That one speaks volumes.

Sorry that I missed this earlier.

What this brings to a mind,
even to an inquisitive mind,
is that you respected her enough
not to pry.

Well done, Sir.

This is so soft and gentle and speaks to many who love and yet cannot get beyond that wall. Sometimes it is better not to try.

I really, really loved this. You're an amazing writer.

Hugs, Marti
