Tears fall silently
down lips trembling
in disbelief and agony.

Hands sit quietly
in cold lap
in disbelief and agony.

Bodies strewn
like cabbages,
tossed human coleslaw
of arms and legs,
heads and torsos.

Why?
Why?
Why?

I will never believe
this is God's will.
If this be your God's will,
I choose not
to believe
in your God.

My God is gentle and kind.
My God makes rainbows and flowers.
My God brings gentle rain and soft breezes.
My God loves laughter.
My God does not bring daily death and destruction.
My God does not bring constant pain and suffering.

But I cannot seem to find where
my God went to lately,
as He seems to have gone off
and left someone else in charge.

And all I see is
human coleslaw
on the nightly news.
And ask WHY?

I, too, would like to know why. Unfortunately it's a question that has been asked for centuries and still goes unanswered...

Very powerful writing, lady

I can't seem to recognize my god's hand in recent days, either, Kacy.  The agenda being served is man's, not god's.

I can only say, I wish I had the answer.  It is hard to watch the news...and there is so much of it.  Thanks for this...it's an eye-opener...

(tears fall down my cheeks) Oh Kacy, I know just how you feel and this breaks my heart to hear of all the suicide bombings going around in Jerusalem and in the Middle East and so many other various cruel acts humanity concocts! (big hugggssssss) I pray that we can all look up to Him and listen and hope to just find solace and peace there that we have taken for granted! we all love you so much, sweet friend, my prayers join yours! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Kacy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,
Noah Eaton

Balladeer, Duncan, Sunshine, thanks for your replies. We just have to keep making daily plans and swallowing a bit harder, and hope for something positive to happen...like maybe a miracle?
Yes, Noah, it is tragic beyond belief. We need to find some way to stop all this inhumanity.

This is so powerful, Kacy.....Yes, where indeed has God gone...
I think She must have taken a vacation...or better yet...maybe She is on maternity leave and we will get to know her almighty daughter.
You have asked some very powerful and intelligent questions, Kacy...and I wish I knew where to find the answers.

~loving hugs~

Kacy~
Sadly there are people in this world that thrive on hurting others, its a senseless act of coward ness and no one wins....I saw today where a bomb exploded at a bus stop....I cried because we can see that pain, and feel it....it is a tragic reminder of how life can be....it is also an unforgiving feeling.....I too have a Sovran god,  and I do not understanding the meaning behind any of this….thank you for your insightful words….it is much appreciated

Lauren~

Step through the
barrier of my mind,
enter my soul,
feel my desire,
let my eyes guide you
into the shadows of my heart
