The flats of Mozart
moan for me
contrasting
sweet tranquility
an island
in a land of sea--
Mozart moans for me.

Let the heavens open gate
with strings on wing
the angel spake--
and every syllable sang true...
the name of God
I sing to you.

Oasis
in a sea of sand
complacency--
the phantom hand
with nothing left
of understand
but the need to be with you.

Everything, I am, is just
a multitude of barrelled lust...
Everything
I am, became...
mocks the silence
of the sane.

Who am I to even judge?
Why my eyes be chosen-healed?
Why must I take a step and budge
in war of natural congeal?
What is there to do in life?
But sit and scrape and sharpen knife?

Now I am steel.
In temperament...
molt of feathers--
angel sent.
Each gift came--then
each gift went...
gladly paid
in pennies spent.

there is so very much in this piece, so very much. IT's more than deep, it's moving.

I thought for sure everyone would hate this one...but what do I know? Popping in to say thank you, between MORE funerals. I love you all, and thank you much. I miss the sanctuary of being here. Write the beauty of life for me, good poet people. Hugs to forum.

Well written and with depth.

Throw your heart out in front of you
And run out to catch it.
