As the sun slips
through shutters
arousing A pastel day

She nourishes the mood
stretching delicate skin

Against the Bed's
crisp white sheets

Propped among feather pillows
sipping the re-birth of chamomile tea

She nestles in the warmth
of the Bed's security

When her night
Transcends methodical

Dressed in colors
of Tiger's eyes, Sapphires
and the Rhythm of the sea

She brings her Lover
to the dream
and The Bed's sensuality

When the moon dilates
erratic, and echo voices
sing-song the words of regret

She tosses and she turns
inhaling the scent
of astringent sweat

In A taste of turmoil
weeping until tears subside

She's a child in fetal position
cradled by the Bed's embrace

Life is an adventure
to be experienced
