i wonder what it sounds like
when you breathe...
so close to me
i can feel your life
brush against my cheek

i wonder what i'd see
if i could see your face--
would you draw me in
with just your smile,
your eyes telling me of dreams
beyond your voice

i wonder how it would feel
to be surrounded by you
nudged gently to slumber
by your embrace--
to wake again
and find you still about me;
you are not a dream...

i wonder..how love would be
when two find that distance is no more
and touch is real
and hearts do beat
and breath is warm
and kiss is sweet...

i wonder..

oh how I know these thoughts, I hope you don't have to wonder for too long. Take care!

But you don't really have to wonder, do you?  Because you feel, even at a distance.     Still, I do identify.  Here's to finding out soon!

Distance bridged is sublime.  But the road there is so often filled with obstacles.  Beautiful poem, beautiful dreams.  Hope they come...and stay true.

Dee dear heart, as Bubbles I'll tell you how utterly divine this is and how much I really love it. And then later I'll enthuse again as Bev de Bump. Well, you know what I say, if you have another name why not use it. So how many could I get away with do you think! No because if I had too many I'd never remember where I was.
Utterly truly totally terrific, and as always I love it
Take care love as always

Very beautiful and tender thoughts flowing from your pen in this one.  There never seems an easy route to take when the distance is one you wish to dispell of quickly is there?

very soft and sweetly sensual "wonderings"
very cool poem dg

And the soul of the friend begins
There's a need to be separate and a need to be one
