~ Meeting White Knight ~

White Knight thou still fails to see
To thyne prize I hold the key.
I thus made the very trance,
That holds thy lady sleeping fast.

The fate of lives we have seen,
Brought to end by this 'love' thing.
I fought with thee many time before
Don't think I wish death to thyne door.

Thus my sword remain sheathed
Mount thy horse and ride with me
The choice thy has is very clear
Thy lady's life balanced here.

I'll wait for thee to mount thy ride,
For we must hasten to the mountain side,
The home of farmers and family's and such
Hangs in the balance of thy love.

Whilst thy think of you,
Thy lady's life is little too.
The barbians out of control,
Rage inhuman battles for stories told.

Soon they'll reach thy safe north home
Shall thy wait thou wilst face alone.
Thus thy needs to think
Dost life mean so little to thee?

~To Blackthorne~

Blackthorne, thou sayest well,
Barbarians thrust must be quelled,
The kingdom suffers from this stranger,
Must make towns safe from this danger.

'Cause thou dust truely hold the key,
To Esmeraldas' safe delivery,
I'll bide my sword from thy lot,
Can'st I trust thee? I think not!

For the Kingdom, I will ride,
And keep thee at my visual side,
Majestics' troops shall guard our flank,
Violate not this , thy borrowed rank!

You speak of love as if a curse,
But thy abhorrence is much worse,
For love gives purpose, to serve and fight,
Defending the weak, for it is Right!

Euclid, summons Majestics' host,
To persue the barbarians by the coast,
Blackthorne pray, lead the way,
We'll purge the rebels here this day!

Thus White Knight off we go,
We'll stop the raid and thus will show,
Even though thy lady sweet lost
by powers conjured by me.

Thou dost attempt the noble deed,
Thy wilst defend humanity.
At the village 'Rocky Craig'
Thou shall use thy very blade.

I see why thou can'st trust
The treachery I felt a must
I fear a deathly grip awaits
within love to seal thy fate.

For the kingdomn thou abides
I wilst fight and be it's guide
Majestics' troops on our flank
Wilst be needed this bloody day.

Love hast no place for me
Yet I too defend the meak
My passion fights over wrong,
For greater good I feel the song.

To love one soul, one lady alas
Another warrior it distracts
Rather than thy lady see
Thy wounded in battle mortally.

'Tis best she die in her peace.
Than to see that of thee.
Shall thy live the day.
Thou hast my word thy lady's safe.

My word given by myne blood
to be shed by wars above.
let us hasten this very day.
On our way to 'Rocky Craig'

On the first dawn of the seventh day ,
I set to fly out over the way
The White Knight’s armies should have gone
To rid the world of evil spawn.

I took to flight and looked around,
And saw the armies on the ground.
The scene that followed brought a tear
To my eye, my heart to fear.

The armies of Good charged forward abreast,
The armies of Evil prepared but their best.
Both groups of soldiers collided as one--
And I looked on…
As the battle begun.

* * * *

Swords and axes struck their blows
The fighting came in waves and rows
The cruelly sharpened weaponry
Was plenty enough to frighten me!

I must admit, though a dragon am I
It brings me to my knees to cry
When I see such death and war—
How I wish there was no more…

But, alas, this battle ensued
With a hatred and vigor renewed;
Proceeded up a grassy dune,
Trailing bodies that were strewn
Around the fighting, killing, dying,
It’s then I found myself all crying;
My heart went out to everyone then,
That they  all may rise up into Heaven.

The massacre did not seem to end—
Until I saw my good old friend,
The White Knight sat tall upon his steed,
Giving aid to all those in need.

The armies of Good were overrun,
And Blackthorne had thought that the battle was done.
But Fate took not its time to find him;
He didn’t see the Knight behind him…

* * * *

And White Knight’s blade was straight and true
And saw its only mission through—
Aid the riddance of evil from throughout the land
And this had been done by the White Knight’s hand.

At his feet, Blackthorne lay,
Mortally wounded, but life did stay
Within him at least as the Knight bent down
And watched his brother with a lasting frown.
He was bruised and bloodied from head to toe,
How he survived that, I still do not know;
There were gashes and cuts in his arms and his sides,
And when he walked there’s a limp in his strides.
I think it was more than a few bones were broken—
He’d lost the war by destiny’s token.

The Knight laid his hand on his brother’s chest,
Then bid him farewell to get some rest.
His men that were left took Blackthorne away
And placed him in the castle to stay.

* * * *

Of all the adventures that I have had,
This one was good, though some times were bad.
Now that it is long after the War,
I’ll go back to what I was doing before.

And here as I lay in my comfortable lair,
I gaze out the entrance and glimpse at what’s there—
A bright shining castle, flags flying anew;
The good had lost many, but saw the fight through.

I cannot say as to what the Knight did
After this scene, for that’s when I hid—
But I’ve come out of hiding to our world today,
And that’s really all that I have to say.

~~~~~~~~~Blackthornes Last words~~~~~~~~~~~~
               to White Knight
White Knight thou
hast shown thy love
Can win wars
when true enough.
Thou brought forth a part of me
A part that I hast not seen.
A blade I took for thyne life.
I seemed to see a shimmering light.
Shining down on thy llady and thee
Why now I'm brought to see
Take my darkened bloody sword
To the life thee adore.
Raise the blade o'er thy head
Speak the words thy heart hast said.
Shatter the blade wilst it glows black
In the room with thyne two hearts.
This your lady it will free
Thus the fool I was,
not to s e ee.........................
Brother, oh Brother thou hast stood the test,
And fought so valiantly like the rest,
How could I have been so blind,
To only see evil in thy mind!
Sure Thou might be somewhat vile,
Due to thy upbringing as a child,
In mine eyes you have redeemed thy life,
By giving thine ALL in this Holy fight.
I see why my beloved thou enchanted,
Thinking it was mine only chance,
To fight with clear and focused eyes,
Against the enemy so despised.
For my life thou hast tasted steel,
Sacrificed, mortal wounds won't heal,
Yet in all my anger and all my strife,
Thou hast seen fit to save my life?
Brother, dear Brother, I recind mine hate,
Why didst Thou learn Love so late?
I place mine hand upon thy heart,
And vow this memory ne'er depart!
