Desert Music

Moonlit coyotes
Sing sweet desert nights to rest
With ancient love songs

I prefer to be a dreamer among the humblest, with visions to be realized, than lord among those without dreams and desires. -Khalil Gibran

You certainly know how to stir my own ancient blood.

I shall carry these stirring visuals, thoughts, and emotions with me throughout the day!

Hi, Shadows!

I'm glad that I could help brighten your morning in any small way.  Have a better afternoon!

Hi, INclan.

One of the most incredible nights that I ever spent was a sleep stop that I made on a desolate stretch of high desert plateau in southwestern Idaho.  I was too tired to drive any further, so I pulled off onto a dirt road to rest.

When I got out to stretch, I was greeted with the most inredible stretch of star-filled sky that I have ever seen, and the silence was puctuated only by those ancient love songs to Mother Nature.  I was awe-struck.

Hi, EA.

Thank you for saying so, but I often find that situations that move me to write, stir similar feelings in other people.

Have a magical day!

Magnificent imagery.
Such harmony before the eyes of the moon.

Hi, TD.

Thanks for saying so.  It is very hard to squeeze a lot of "music" into such a little song.
