Follow

Follow your mind into shadow
And you will find its source of light
Stay your thoughts within this meadow
And your very soul will ignite

Sense the dew that forms on grass
Raise your eyes the light of dawn
See the clouds the color of brass
Feel once more a day is born

Watch the flowers rise and wake
See the birds fly overhead
The butterflies in nectars take
A world of hunger to be fed

Extend your hand in empathy
Allow your grace to fill the air
Give your mind in sympathy
Touch the touchstone everywhere

And in the sum of one on one
The purpose of your life is done

I hope some day to get where you are with my writing. You know how to make a person feel your words.
Enjoyed it.

Your word-palette is loaded
with the true colors of the morn~
Within your rhyme ... new day is born~

I would 'follow' you rhythmically just to LEARN~

Very wise, sir Sy...as always...you set the
mark and the rest of us stumble before we
get there.

Seymour,
Regrettably I have not visited here in a while.  But I am so glad that your poem is the first that I read since I came back.  It really makes me see what I have been missing.  As always, you have lifted my spirit.  Thanks my friend!

Friday poem?

seems I have followed a little late
Sir Sy
but that does not distract
from the poem's beauty

"Watch the flowers rise and wake"

works on Sunday too...

i like this very much Mr Tabin.

Found that if the light is showing, it the only place i see my shadow except within the mind, for when i turn it one of the direction the real shadow appers, till darkness or in my mind.

I if read this in difference, sorry just my thoughts on your write. Which you do very well

What a wonderful path you've shared here... May we all follow the light that we so naturally are drawn to...

Peace, Seymour!

Just a small bump so that this beauty might grace anothers eyes.

You are inspiring.
