Whitetail grazing glade
unaware of hunter’s gaze.
Eagle watches all.

(sigh) Though I've never been a real fan of hunting, my cousin Jeremy loved hunting, and I respect how everyone has their own interests and there can be a sort of serenity and appreciation of nature in the life of a hunter that I have never quite perceived! (smiles) I love this, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Jo, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

I can see and sense the scenario! Jo, you are very adept at capturing such moments and then skillfully relaying them to your readers.

Very well done!

Loveya!

Watch the deer come close
just outside the cottage door
hoof tracks in the snow.

A most excellent one!  I really appreciate reading these

I will never make a hunter, Iliana.  The danger in your poem is imminent.  You make me remember one I wrote a long time ago.  I'll see if I can find it to post.
