.
Autumn puffed in-
Announcing a change in wind-
The morning sun paints the sky electric blue
a festive backdrop to nature's last
party before winter.

The woods celebrate-
giddy, swaying, drunk with earth nectar...
Trees dance with the strong breezes until gowns
blazing in copper, scarlet, and gold
rustle, flutter, and whirl to the ground.

The sun departs-
A haze of smoke from ancient Indian fires
clings to the blue-grey horizon:
Reluctant revelers silently slip into frosty slumber
And wait for the warm kiss of spring to
Invite them to her annual ball.

Nancy Lee, absolutely marvelous writing, my friend!
So beautiful, this is.

Have a nice holiday, sweet lady. Your tags
should be waiting when you return. Stay
safe on your trip. Love you.

(smiles) Oh Nancy, though I do admit I prefer spring and summer over the other two seasons, there is such beauty in every seasonal transition, and every reveler will always be invited to share in the delight of every seasonal feast, yay! (does happy autumn airhop) Yay, this is pretty, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Nancy, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Love,

the seasons and the changes so very very
well.   stiffly bows to her in humble reverence...
