The Rose Unfolds

I want to sing to you a rose
And smell the fragrance of your smile
While you sip on nectars of love and prose
As I toast in laughter to spring’s beguile
Wondering if a kiss holds still a moment
Like frozen landscapes of dreams and lost lovers
Shattering from auburn light tonight Heavenly sent
A sparkling aura of diamonds reflecting forever
Beyond which distant suns and forgiven sins bleed
Bringing to truth this song from the cold
So I can steal your heart from content once feigned
Until you believe in my words as happiness unfolds...

Marcel

I don't think "I" can help you become better...  You have skills.

A breathtaking rendering here Keith.
The flow of this one was magical...
"Like frozen landscapes of dreams and lost lovers
Shattering from auburn light tonight Heavenly sent
A sparkling aura of diamonds reflecting forever
Beyond which distant suns and forgiven sins bleed"

But this...this was just WOW!

I enjoyed the read, my favorite:

"Wondering if a kiss holds still a moment
Like frozen landscapes of dreams and lost lovers"

Keith~

There is such overwhelming beauty in your thoughts~

'As I toast in laughter to spring’s beguile
Wondering if a kiss holds still a moment
Like frozen landscapes of dreams and lost lovers
Shattering from auburn light tonight Heavenly sent
A sparkling aura of diamonds reflecting forever'
